My puppy has diarrhea, crying, and slimy jelly poop. What can I do?

9 1/2 week old chihuahua/terrier puppy keeps running around crying every 5 min an trying to poop. Slimy clearish beige jelly stuff comes out. Little diarrhea earlier. Something I can give her to help? She is getting her 2nd dose of dewormer this Saturday. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 28 days old | 7 lbs

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Piper. Poor girl. Withhold food until the morning, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, she starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. Best of luck.
