Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 15 years and 5 months old
Five days ago, my 15 year old short haired cat started sneezing quite a bit. She typically never sneezes. This lasted two days, then she threw up three times in a row. One looked like a hair ball and the other two looked like cat food. The next day, she started dry heaving a lot and hasn’t stopped. Should I let her ride it out or take her in? What could it be?

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Rapunzel. Poor girl! It sounds like she is sick, and she could have a respiratory infection causing the sneezing. The vomiting could be due to a GI illness. I definitely think she should be seen by a vet, and I would take her into the vet first thing in the morning. Best of luck.
