My bird has a loose leg, can't stand, balance, or eat. Is he sick?

My bird is not moving . I don't know what's wrong with its leg . It is very lose and he can't stand on it . Not only when I lay him down he has no balance and thus falls on the ground on its tummy with its feathers widely open. Now he's not eating well . I am very worried pls tell me what's the matter . He can't walk or stand inside the cage I have to carry him and look over him the whole day. Help .

Thanks for reaching out about Bulbul and including photos, although the photos do not include the legs. A loose leg is likely a fracture, dislocation or neurologic problems, each requiring a veterinary visit to treat. Nutritional deficiencies can lead to weak bones, more likely to fracture. Veterinary intervention sooner than later can improve prognosis and recovery. Provide supplemental heat in the 80-85 F range, as young birds have difficulty thermoregulating. Offering food and water via a syringe might give some hydration and energy. Good luck.
