How to stop my cat from knocking things off counters for attention?

My cat knocks glass off counters when she wants attention. I don’t know how to get her to stop. Sometimes she does it when I’m at works so I don’t find the broken glass till hours later. I don’t know what to do and I’m worried she’s gonna cut herself! Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 2 months old | 10 lbs

Unfortunately this is a very common cat characteristic . I recommend to either a restricted area that Lady Bird has access to or to keep the countertops clean so there is nothing to knock down. There are some products to deter cats: motion activated fog horns, electric collars, and certain odors but they work with varying degrees of success.
