I, personally, do not recommended feeding any human foods to dogs, especially small breed dogs. They tend to have very sensitive stomachs, in general, and often if they start getting trained to eat human food, they will start refusing to eat dog food. So, keep that in mind. That being said, salmon (as long as it is thoroughly cooked) is not harmful and does have some beneficial qualities. I suggest you refer to this link for more information.
