What to do if my puppy has diarrhea from eating peanut butter?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 7 months and 3 days old | 13 lbs

My puppy (7 months) has 2 days with diarrhea, has defecated 3 times in the last 4 hours. My daughter tells me that she has given him a teaspoon of peanut butter the last 3 days.

It may be due to the peanut butter which should be stopped. withhold food for 8 hours then offer him boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if he is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put him back gradually on his normal food. If the diarrhea does not resolve, take him to the vet to get treatment.
