Why is my dog limping with a painful, jiggling lump on his leg?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 50 lbs

What is this? I've tried looking it up but I've seen nothing. Its like a swollen knot on the back of his left leg. It jiggles when he walks, and even when he just breathes. He limps a little, but not alot. And when we try to touch it, he'll cry out. We just barely noticed it so we don't know how it could have happened whatever it is.

Poor Chapo. It's obviously painful to him if he is limping. It could be a growth or fluid in his joint from an injury. He needs to see a vet for this problem, and I would take him into one first thing in the morning.
