That appears to be a benign skin wart. I would not be overly concerned unless it is causing Kiko any discomfort. Next time you have him to the vet just point it out so they can confirm. Of course, if you are worried, there is no harm in having your vet check it out now.

    That lesion on Kiko could be from an ingrown hair, a grass seed under the skin , an infected cyst or a fly larva under the skin. I recommend to have Kiko examined by his veterinarian and make sure he cannot lick at the area. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

This looks like a mass. It looks quite benign such as a wart or skin tag, however it is impossible to know for sure without testing the lump. You could have the lump tested/removed or simply monitor it for changes. I wouldn't be overly concerned about it.

What could this be? My other dog and him play a lot but this is more of a bump of some sort like a pimple. Doesn’t seem to bother him.
Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. This looks like a wart or possibly a keratin cyst. Both of these are benign growths in the skin. I recommend monitoring this bump over the next 1-2 weeks and if it increases in size or starts to bother Roscoe, it should be examined by a veterinarian. Otherwise, if it stays the same or goes away, I would not be concerned. I hope this is helpful!

Hi There, I noticed this lump on my maltese shitzu tonight. Does this look like skin cancer?
Luckily no, this is a wart which is a benign skin growth. Many dogs get warts as they age and they are nothing to be overly concerned about unless they get very large or are in a location to be cut when dogs are getting groomed. Dog has small pink wart like bump or skin tag perhaps?
Hi there! From the photo the mass does appear to be a benign papilloma (wart). That being said, it is not easy to tell 100% from a photo. I would still recommend you take Jack to your vet for an exam just to be on the safe side. I do not think it's an emergency situation. While you are waiting to take him in for his exam be sure to monitor the mass closely for any drastic changes in shape or size. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

Can you tell me what I should do ?
I suggest you take your animal to a veterinarian to have this skin lesion examined. Unfortunately it is not possible to see very well what this is. This may be a growth or a fungal or bacterial infection. To identify a tumor, your vet may want to do a fine needle aspirate (he takes some material from the bump with a needle and then looks at it under the microscope) to determine whether the mass is concerning.

My dog has a small pink raised bump on her neck, it’s about the size of the head of a needle.. maybe a little bigger. It’s been there for a few months and hasn’t grown in size. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her. Any idea what it could be?
This is likely a harmless wart, especially since it has not changed in size or shape for many months. Continue monitoring it and if it changes in shape, size or color have your veterinarian examine it. Your vet may then want to do a fine needle aspirate (he takes some material from the bump with a needle and then looks at it under the microscope) to determine whether the mass is concerning.

Hello, I just noticed a tiny bump on the surface of my dogs skin while I was petting him. It’s moveable and has a hard surface, with a darker center. Do you think this looks like a wart or skin tag?
Thank you for submitting your question regarding Diesel. It does appear to be a small wart like growth. These are common in middle aged to older dogs. Some dogs will grow more after the first one. If it does not change size or bother him, it is likely not anything to worry about for him. However, if it grows, changes color or bothers him, then he will need to see his veterinarian. I noticed a small hard bump on the back of my dog’s neck. What is this?
It could be a cyst, a wart, or some other benign or malignant growth. The only way to know for certain what a bump is is to take a sample of cells with a needle or biopsy for examination under a microscope. If it seems to bother your dog or appears to be growing rapidly, be sure to have this lesion checked out in the next week or two. Otherwise, if your dog isn't bothered and the lesion doesn't seem to be changing much, I would recommend having it checked out by a vet in the next couple of months.
