My dog can't put weight on his paw. What oral pain meds can I give?

Hello doctor . My dog can't put his feet down . He keeps his leg hanging.. because something has happened in between his feet .He is not a dog who allows us for applying topical medications ... Is there any oral Medication he can take . The image is attached below for reference . Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 7 years and 6 months old

Poor Snuffy. He is in a lot of pain if he can't put his foot down. Unfortunately there are no OTC pain medications you can give him, as many ones are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. You need to take him into a vet now to get this treated. Best of luck.
