My outdoor cat gets pregnant often. How to stop it without surgery?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 2 months old

Is it bad for a cat to get pregnant/give birth too many times (over 8 times) she's an outdoor cat and what can I do to stop her from getting pregnant other than the surgery

Bella's had a lot of litters. Unfortunately the only thing you could do besides surgery is keep her indoors all the time so she has no contact with intact male cats to get pregnant. But the best option is to get her spayed.
