It could just be you are doing too much with Kitty, and she is tired and taking a break. Gradually increasing activity can help, as well as providing plenty of breaks. If this is a new or sudden symptom for her, or she seems in distress after exercise (wheezing, turning pale, struggling to get about, etc) then it is best to have her examined by your vet for exercise intolerance and to try and find a cause.
