My 14-week puppy is vomiting and has loose stools. What's wrong?

Hello, I'm watching a family members pup (14 weeks). He was fine sunday. But today he's vomited up undigested food about 5 times since lunch time. It's essentially everything he's eaten today. Apart from possibly his breakfast. He's typically has a tin of working dog food and cat biscuits (this is changing with immediate effect). He's also had a few loose stools (7 on the bristol chart). It's been about three hours between bouts and started after being given a small portion of cat biscuits.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I’m sorry to hear Ralph isn’t feeling well. I recommend taking him to a vet right away. Puppies that age are at risk for dehydrating when they vomit and have loose stools. I would be concerned Ralph could have parvovirus or intestinal parasites. A vet can test him for both and treat as necessary. If he’s dehydrated he will need IV fluids. Also medications to stop the vomiting. Good luck and kisses to Ralph!
