Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 7 years and 8 months old | 45 lbs
My pet had her periods for two weeks ending 28/9 June. Then it stopped. Suddenly from 4th July, she started bleeding again in larger quantities. She was not neutered and had no puppies. She is otherwise very healthy, agile and friendly. She weighs around 21 kgs. Please advise what should be done now...she does not have a regular vet because she has never fallen sick. She has her vaccinations and deworming pills regularly. Her name is Chiku

Poor Chiku. I'd be concerned this bleeding could be a sign of a pyometra, which is an infection of the uterus that is fatal without treatment. Without seeing her in person, I cannot rule this out, so please take her into a vet now.
