Why is my cat suddenly scared of walking on hard floors and rugs?

Pet's info: Cat | Turkish Angora | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 10 lbs

All of the sudden cat is afraid of the floor..woodem.floors with area rugs...will.go to food bowl and litter box...gets around by climbing and jumping on furniture etc....fleas are not an issue

How peculiar! I wonder if your kitty's toenails have gotten overly long and the hard floor feels strange, or if your kitty is having some sort of orthopedic/joint pain and the hard floor feels slippery/painful. I would consider having your vet check her toenails and look her over for any signs of arthritis/pain in case this is the issue.
