My kitten bites. How do I stop this and prevent future biting?

How do you stop a kitten from biting to prevent cat biting in the future? I've tried pushing him away, I've tried being still and Ive tried giving him his toys instead. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 months and 19 days old | 1.6 lbs

It sounds like you are on the right track, persistence is key with puppies and kittens when they are play biting. If your kitten does start attacking/biting your hand then give a sharp/quick "no" and walk away, removing yourself completely. This way the kitten realizes that biting leads to no interaction with you. It can take a good deal of time and persistence but it will pay off in the end.
