Why is my senior puggle less affectionate with high liver enzymes?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Puggle | Male | neutered | 13 years and 4 months old | 38 lbs

We have a 13 yo puggle. He is normally very lovey and happy but the past 3 weeks he's been down and not as affectionate. Went to vet and his exam was good but his liver enzymes and protein were high. I attached the results. are these super high? Hes on denamarin and antibiotics now. Thoughts?

These elevations are mild and not specific at this stage, especially if all the other findings at the physical examination are normal. I would recommend to follow the suggestions your local vet gave and repeat the blood tests in 2 weeks time to compare results.
