My dog's overdue for rabies. Is his bodily fluid on my cut a risk?

My dog has been 1 year overdue for his rabies vaccination. Today i took him to the vet and was Dx with corneal ulcer. I got home and carried him to the door, I felt a liquid touch my ear (not sure if it was his saliva or his tears- due to the ulcer) which I have a small cut in. What is my risk for contracting rabies? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 16 years and 7 months old | 12 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I’m sorry to hear Mick isn’t feeling well. Since Mick isn’t showing neurological signs, like stumbling, drooling, or acting different, I wouldn’t be concerned about Rabies. Just wash your cut well with soap and water. Kisses to Mick!
