Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Female | spayed | 55 lbs
Dog at some denim yesterday. We were advised by our vet to give her some peroxide and bland yogurt to induce vomitting. She didn't vomit until this morning but has vomitted 4 times. The first two produced denim...the last two were all bile and the most recent had a touch of blood. Do I need to seek immediate care or is her stomach just irritated?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The peroxide can cause stomach and esophageal irritation. It sounds like that is what is happening. If Lucy continues to vomit and you are seeing blood I would take her to a vet for medication to prevent a stomach ulcer. If she’s done vomiting, I would wait 1-2 hours before feeding her so her stomach can settle. Once it does, feed her her normal diet or you can give her some boiled chicken and boiled rice. By tomorrow she should be her normal self. Good luck and kisses to Lucy!
