My dog has a new, severe rash on her private area. What should I do?

I recently noticed a type of rash on my dogs private area. We took her to the vet 2 weeks ago for her heat rashes, and it got significantly better. But we’ve never seen a rash like this before. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 4 years and 10 months old | 56 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This looks like very severe irritation/inflammation. It may be a reaction to something in the environment which may be causing this. Or it could also be something like a severe infection. I would highly recommend you consider going back to your veterinarian if she currently has the rash. They would be able to assess the situation and proceed with therapy accordingly. Best of luck!
