My dog's eye has pus and he can't see. Could it be an infection?

What is happening to his eyes? What medicine should we give him? He is a street dog. I'm able to see something like puss in eye and he is unable to see from that eye. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 3 years and 10 months old | 28 lbs

Hi, and thanks for your question. That is likely to be due to a moderate to severe conjunctivitis, probably secondary to a trauma or infection. A check up would be needed as appropriate treatment would include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory eye drops. Corneal injuries must be ruled out as well.
