Dog scratching after flea meds. Is it allergies, mites, or fleas?

Hey there. My dog has been biting and scratching himself incessantly. I assume this is flea related but I have already given him 2 doses of K9 Advantix II in a one month period. I have been contemplating Benadryl or a flea collar but I’m not sure. Thank you so much for your help. Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | neutered | 11 years and 7 months old | 27 lbs

It could be Django has fleas, and I'm wondering if you have disinfected your home as well. If not, it will be a continuing source of fleas. You will also have to disinfect the environment. Wash his bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a spray to kill fleas in the house, such as Indorex, or a flea bomb would work well to kill the fleas in the home. It could be he has allergies or mites causing this scratching. I'd take him into a vet in the morning to get checked out.
