Can I apply Frontline to my injured cat after vet treatment and shots?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | 4 years and 3 months old | 21 lbs

My cat got attacked Friday and was treated at vet on sunday the 6/30. He received Convenia, rabies and anti inflammation injections. Wound area shaved and cleaned and he has been indoors since then recovering. He is due to get his monthly FRONTLINE PLUS application this coming Saturday 7/13. Is it safe to apply fronline given all these injections and having bare spots on his lower back? Thank you. Attached wound picture

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Snoops. It should be fine to apply his Frontline Plus as normal. His wounds appear to be healing well from your pictures. As long as he is feeling well, eating/drinking and does not have a fever, he can have his Frontline Plus. I hope this information helps!
