Hi! My girl Aspen here has been having this bumps under her fur show up.. I dont know what it is and it worries me because she has 6 week old puppies. None of them have bumps like this except 1 has 1 small bump on her head. And it looks like it scabbed. I'm only including photos of Aspen, but let me know if I should send some of the puppy. Are these bug bites? Or should I be concerned? Should I go to the vet?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! From the pictures it looks like Aspen has hives. This is usually an allergic reaction and I would suspect some kind of bug bit her causing the reaction. You can give her Benadryl every 8 hours for the reaction. If it’s not helping, you should take her to the vet for stronger medications. She should no longer be nursing but it is safe for the babies. Also, the reaction isn’t contagious so I wouldn’t worry about them. Good luck and kisses to Aspen and her babies!
