i noticed some of my dogs snacks had little white dots, any idea what they might be? i don’t have the original package but it is salmon, chicken and cow (the brand is also not available in the US). i found a picture that i took of the same snacks a while ago and the grey one looks like it has these white dots too (or am i seeing it wrong??)

Its hard to say what those white dots are. Purchase another package and see if they have the dots too. Maybe it is normal. You may also call the company and speak with a representative. Mold or contaminants during processing would also be on the list of potential causes of the white dots. When in doubt, throw them out so that you don't risk harming Alex. I hope this helps.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is probably just part of the treat and not necessarily a concern. However, if this does not seem like what they usually look like, it may be best to get rid of them and not feed them to your pup. Best of luck!
