My dog's eye looks like cherry eye. It's itchy. What should I do?

Please see pictures attached. Looks like Cherry eye please confirm. Should I worry about getting surgery as soon as possible? How can I help her feel better? It's itchy. Does it look like cherry eye. Should I continue to put the one on her. She is uncomfortable with it on. Pet's info: Dog | DOG-MED-SHORTHAIR | Female | spayed | 40 lbs

That looks like Cherry eye but a swollen 3rd eye lid could also look like this. Cherry eye is not generally uncomfortable/itchy so I have some concerns that something else is happening (maybe a foreign object trapped underneath the eye lid). Yes, continue to have her wear the cone and I recommend to have her examined today to determine the exact cause and treatment. If it is cherry eye, surgery should be done quickly. I hope this helps.
