My cat has black spots on her lips. Are they blackheads? What to do?

My cat has some strange black spots on her lips. They look somewhat like blackheads. What could they be and how do I treat them?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This may be the same as blackheads in humans. There is nothing that needs to be done. If it does not go away on its own as expected or it forms a mass, have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment. Have a great day!
