My kittens have ringworm. Can I bathe them with antiseptic first?

My kittens have been infected with ringworm disease... Is it advisable to bathe them in water diluted with antiseptic liquid as a first aid administration before taking them to the vet?

I would strongly recommend to take them straight to the vet before using any antiseptic solution, which may not be effective at all. Any previous treatment may influence and delay diagnosis and be contraindicated given the young age.
