My dog's face is swollen, shaking, and ears are hot. Emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 23 days old | 4 lbs

We just got back from vacation in Vallecito Lake Colorado and our dog seems to be having some issues.. we just noticed when we got home so the symptoms started this morning.. he is shaking, ears are hot and face looks swollen

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Blu. Poor boy. It could be an allergic reaction that he is suffering from, and my main concern is that his face looks swollen. If his face swells too much, it could cut off his trachea, leading to respiratory distress. I would take him into a vet immediately to get checked out. Best of luck.
