My dog has an ear infection, out of drops. Vet booked, what to do?

our 9/mo rotti/shepard mix has ear problem, previous infection,vet cant see him for 5 days! should he be seen sooner? out of drops and she wont renew prescription without seeing him! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 15 days old | 65 lbs

It would be better if Rocket is seen sooner. You can ask them to put you on a cancellation list, where they call you if an appointment opens up sooner. You can also see about taking him into another vet in your area if they can get him in sooner. Finally, if his ear is really bad, take him into an ER vet. Best of luck.
