My horse tangled in rope, keeps laying down. Is it colic or injury?

Pet's info: Farm Animal | Horse | Male | neutered | 1200 lbs

Horse got Tangled in rope. Not sure how long he was down. Had him up and walking but Everytime he is turned loose lays back down. Gave him a tube of electrolytes and let him drink some water

Sounds like he is colicking. I suggest you get a vet out there to check him out. Glad he drank some water and had some electrolytes but the fact that he keeps laying down is not good. He may need some Bute or Banamine (anti-inflammatory) - he may have muscle inflammation from being down/tangled.
