My small dog accidentally took a high dose of Doxycycline. Is he okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | unneutered | 12 years and 6 months old | 8 lbs

Hi, about 3 hours ago, I accidentally gave my 11yo shih tzu 1 100mg Doxycycline that was meant for my other dog, a Shar Pei. My shih tzu just had his first dose of his actual prescription: 1mL Co-Amoxiclav, 1 tab Methiovet, & 1 small scoop of Renal P. He is only 8 pounds. He is sleeping right now as it is night time. Will he be seriously hurt by the added wrong med of Doxy esp when it's quite a high dosage meant for a much bigger dog?

A part from possible oesophageal inflammation, Prince should not experience any other side effect a part from nausea, vomiting, and possibly diarrhea. I would not be extremely worried and just monitor him at this stage. Should you notice any signs listed above, a check up would be needed.
