Is a 30-minute daily walk enough for my dog's overall health?

Question

He weigh 38kg..so is once a day walk for 30 minutes is ok for him? He is trained to do potty urine inside bathroom flooring whenever he feel like he goes himself to the bathroom & do it..rest he love spending his day like playing himself and sleeping and sometimes he do whinning when he is not getting things done so my question is once a walk daily in morning is sufficient according to him? Can less walk calls more life threat diseases ? Though I know it depends from dog to dog. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 7 months old

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! How many times he needs to be walked outside depends on the dog. If once a day works for him and he is at a healthy weight then that is fine. If you think he may need to lose some weight then more frequent walks such as twice or three times a day would be better.
