Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 13 days old | 25 lbs
My German Shepard had been throwing up all day won't keep down water or food but there's no blood and she's had her shots. The last time I took her to the very she had parasites but this time I don't know. Could it be parasites again? Of so would prosense deworming get rid of it? What do you think?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Athena. If she cannot keep food or water down, then I recommend seeking emergency veterinary care for her tonight. While parasites can cause vomiting, it is generally not so severe. Based on her exam findings, diagnostic testing will likely be recommended. I worry that she is becoming dehydrated from vomiting so much. If so, this will need to be addressed as well. I am afraid she will vomit any deworming medication that you give at home rendering it ineffective even if she has parasites. I hope this information helps!
