Why is my cat straining to poop, losing weight, and eating more?

My cat has been straining to poop and when he does its usually watery or even bloody. He has a cough, has been losing a lot of weigh, neglecting grooming habits. He eats like a pig and is sleeping a lot more often. What would cause these problems? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 5 months old
