My pet's ears and nose look pale. Should I worry about anemia?

You generally can't tell from the ears and nose if a pet is anemic. You need to examine the gums. If the gums look pale to you or if you are still concerned, your veterinarian can answer the question about anemia very quickly with a physical exam and a few drops of blood (if needed).
