I live in massachusetts in an area with lyme disease carrying ticks. Can i let my guinea pig graze in a bottomless protective cage in my grassy back yard...do guinea pigs get lyme disease?

Thanks for reaching out and not sure if that answer can be 100% answered. In a quick literature search, no documented lyme disease in guinea pigs. The set up should be safe, but a good dermal inspection prior to bringing back indoors is recommended. Good luck.
