What causes dog neck rashes from collars and how to treat them?

I am sorry to hear about Bella! It looks like perhaps she could have developed a rash due to the contact with her collars. Some dogs seems more sensitive to having collars, or if the collars haven't been washed in awhile or got wet and were wet against the skin it can cause irritation. You can try washing the area with a colloidal oatmeal shampoo from your vet or the pet store, and letting her go without a collar when indoors. You can put a harness on or get a new clean collar or a rolled leather collar which may cause less irritation to the skin. If the problem persists, a visit to the vet is recommended.
