What food is best for my dog with few teeth after dental work?

Question

Fiffy got dental work done, 16 teeth removed, before this she was eating science bill diet sensitive stomach small breed dry dog food. Now that she doesn’t have much teeth left as she was missing before the 16, I am not sure what to feed her now I have tried various canned food such as the small breed science hill diet ones and a stew one but she won’t eat them. Any advice ? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 9 lbs

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would still try to feed the dry food to FIffy. She ate that food when she had 16 bad teeth in her mouth and she will still be able to eat that food after they are removed. You may have to water the food down a little bit to make it soft but really dogs can eat hard food without any teeth. Good luck and kisses to FIffy!
