Is Easotic suitable for cats? The vet prescribed it to treat my cat's otitis, but the label says it should only be used on dogs, which got me a little confused. Did the vet made a mistake or is this drug used safely in cats extra-label? Thank you!

EasOtic is often prescribed for extra-label (https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.petcoach.co/amp/article/veterinarians-allowed-to-prescribe-extra-label-drugs) use in cats. It is commonly used to treat both bacterial and yeast ear infections. If you have concerns, I would give your vet a call just to confirm the dosage, but I have commonly prescribed this medication for my cat patients. I hope that Ruffy is feeling better soon!
