I found an injured bird with a hard skin head wound. Is it infected?

Is it infected?i found it today on the ground..i think it fell from the second floor and hurted its head..but i found a hard skin on its head..is that some kind of infection?how and what should i feed it? Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male

Thanks for reaching out about duke. A wildlife rehabilitation group should be contacted for recovery. They can provide veterinary attentions, socialization with other birds and plan a release. If your pet, a veterinary visit is recommended, as this wound could be deep and require antibiotics. Good luck.
