My old dog is lethargic, not eating, and weak. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 18 years and 10 months old | 50 lbs

He's my oldest and he's not active he's barely eating he barely gets around he's been like this for for a few weeks flies are trying to eat around his ears.. I don't know what to do can you give me advice please.... I know he's hurting..

Lethargy and loss of appetite can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam.
