My cat's tail tip fell off. What's the black object sticking out?

Hello my cat's tip of his tail fell off and I have no Idea what this is at all, I see a long thin black object sticking out where the tip of his tail used to be. I don't know if it got squeezed on something like that. Pet's info: Cat | American Bobtail | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 13 days old

There is a wound on the tail tip and the tail itself (bone muscles and skin) is necrotic and slowly falling. I would recommend an immediate check up as wound curettage and antibiotic treatment are needed as soon as possible.
