Pet's info: Fish | Betta | Male
About a month ago, my beta fish became lethargic and would not eat. He then spewed a white gunk and seemed to be better and ate again. Now he’s not eating at all, just chewing his food and spitting it up. I’m worried he’s going to starve. I have him now in a small bowl and tried to feed him like this, but he is still not eating.

Thanks for reaching out about Felix. Any chance of ingested rocks or other material that can block the throat? Enlarged organs (goiter, heart) can also make swallowing difficult. A veterinary visit is probably needed to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Good luck.
