My dog refuses liquid meds post-dental. Can I put them in her food?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 9 lbs

Fiffy just got 16 teeth removed today. She was sent home with liquid antibiotics and liquid anti inflammatories with pain medicine. She will not let me give them to her she moves her head and I am scared to touch her mouth to kind of force it in any tips? Can I put it in food will it have the same effect

Poor Fiffy! Yes, you can try mixing the medication into a small amount of canned dog food, chicken or beef baby food, or even low-sodium chicken or beef broth to see if she will take it on her own - this won't hurt anything at all.
