My Shih Tzu puppy has a watery, scratched eye. What to do until vet?

So my 10 month old shih tzu and my 2 year old shih tzu were playing and they younger one comes back with a half closed watery eye I believe it was scratched this was on yesterday and now it has a discharge I cant take him to the vet until tomorrow because that's my pay day is there anything I can do until then. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | 10 months and 9 days old | 10 lbs

Hello, sorry to hear about Lincoln. Protecting the eye from further trauma by placing an e-collar on would be something you can do without seeing a vet. However, eye injuries can be very dangerous and if youre at all able to have him evaluated, sooner would be better than waiting until tomorrow. Keep your puppy away from playing with your other dog until you can get him evaluation. Hope this helps and best of luck.
