Should I move my indoor German Shepherd mix to live outside?

Hi, i have a questions about living arrangement for a 4 year german shepherd mix. he has been living inside a large house his whole life. if we wanted to change his living situation to living outside the house, would that need to be a gradual process or something that could happen quite quickly?

It would have to be a gradual process but a dog who is used to living indoors likely won’t adjust well to being an outside dog. He will be used to being around you all the time, and will probably bark a lot for attention. I personally don’t recommend doing this, it’s not best for him.
