Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 65 lbs
My dog has some strange circle looking thing growing on the top of her nose I don't have any idea what it is. So I'm not sure if I should take her into the vet or not or just wait and see it doesn't look serious. Thank you

This presentation could be due to a trauma or localized spot of skin infection (likely to be caused by bacteria or fungal infection). A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem. Disinfection may be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any licking (if any). Hi. Hard to say for sure by these pictures and not knowing her age. But, it appears to me to be a benign growth that many pets get as they get older. They can be wart like, and can be sebaceous in nature. To know for sure, she would need an exam and biopsy.

Any growth needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take him to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
