It could be either dry vomit or dry feces (if the it smells like food, it is more likely to be vomit though). Just to be on the safe side, start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I would recommend initiating a bland diet of chicken and rice and feed this at least 3 days passed the resolution of the diarrhea. I would also consider adding in a probiotic such as Purina fortiflora which can be found easily online or at your local pet store. If the diarrhea continues or worsens then I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her so that the most appropriate Diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps! Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns that you may have and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Usually these episodes are related to diet or gastrointestinal inflammation/infection. Scabies usually is not related to it. I would suggest to start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice more diarrhoea, vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. Persistent diarrhoea could be a sign compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may be needed.
