Hi my dog was bitten by a snake a little while ago and since then my dog has had terrible breath it’s an believable stench we have bathed him and it’s not helped at all. I’ve been to my normal vet but they said they couldn’t smell it but people who are around the dog can smell it and can’t stand to be around the dog wanted to know what it could possibly be, his a jack russel and is around 12 months old

That seems unusual and I'm not sure the two are related. I recommend to get a second opinion from another vet. The breath itself can be bad because of tooth problems or a disease of the mucosa. Renal disease and diabetes will also change the breath. If Jack has been licking his rectum....odor could also come from there. Make sure to jack examined again while you notice the bad breath. Best of luck.
