Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Feral | Female | spayed | 9.5 lbs

Hello! Last week I noticed one of my feral ( ish ) cats was squinting and had some discharge in her eye . Managed to get to vet , dr said to try to administer tobramycin drops as much as possible for 7 days. They gave her a drop in hospital last thurs and fri I managed to give her a drop in the am n pm by picking her up while she’s eating ( only time I can get close )Since then she’s avoided me like the plague and I haven’t been successful in getting her. Don’t know what to Do here thank you

That is a tough situation since you can't treat a pet unless you can catch them. You may try trapping her somehow and keeping her contained until the treatment is ended. Adding Lysine (a supplement for cats) may also help but will not be as effective as the eye drops. Best of luck.
